Since 1988, RPM Transportation Consultants has provided traffic engineering consulting
services for the City of Brentwood, Tennessee. Projects have included the development
of a computerized transportation network model for the City's major streets, the
Brentwood 2020 Plan, site plan review, bicycle route planning, review of bicycle
facility design plans, the preparation of traffic signal design plans and specifications
for over 20 intersections within the City, signal timing analyses, numerous four-way
stop warrant analyses, Advanced Planning Reports for intersection improvements at
Concord Road/Wilson Pike, Maryland Way/Eastpark Drive, Maryland Way/Westpark Drive,
and various other traffic engineering studies. Also, in 1994 and 1995,
RPM developed residential traffic control and traffic calming policies that have been
used by the City to evaluate the need for traffic control devices on residential
streets in Brentwood.
