Brandon Taylor, P.E.
Brandon is a professional engineer with RPM Transportation Consultants. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky. Brandon is a registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee and has over 12 years of professional transportation engineering experience. Brandon has been with RPM since 2012.
Brandon has a background in both roadway geometric design and traffic engineering. He has experience both with design software including Microstation, Geopak, and AutoCad, as well as traffic analysis software including Synchro and SimTraffic, Highway Capacity Software (HCS), RODEL, Sidra, and Paramics.
Brandon’s main expertise is in modeling and the geometric design of Roundabouts. He has been on teams that have written the Wisconsin DOT roundabout design manual as well as the Tennessee DOT roundabout design manual. Since joining RPM, Brandon’s focus has been on traffic signal design, traffic impact studies, traffic signal warrant studies, bikeway planning and design, roadway geometric design, and intersection design.
Brandon is an active member in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).
